Abdul A'la, one of five Indonesian Muslim leaders who met with interfaith leaders in Israel, says he is committed to maintaining the spirit of peace in the Middle East, despite threats he faces in his homeland.

When he went to Israel between 3-8 Dec. 2007, major Israeli newspaper The Jerusalem Post reported Abdul and others in the group as moderate Indonesian Muslim leaders.
