LTKS is an organization which is deeply concerned with discrimination, human rights and gender issue and poverty and it is formulating actions to address those issues.   The agenda is elaborated into several action plans such as reconciliation and rehabilitation of the victim of social conflicts, strengthening the position of women and empowering people economy and politics. LTKS also provides advocacy to the victim (woman) of violence and helps improve the quality of Islamic boarding schools in the Boyolali.  

The organization which is supported by 15 members of staffs is seeking an alliance with other organizations such as SYARIKAT, Jaringan Penguatan Partisipasi dan Hak-Hak Perempuan (the Network for Empowering women’s Participation and Rights (JPPHP), WALHI Jateng, BPR YIS, Forum Sapulidi Boyolali, Forum Komunikasi Madrasah Ibtidaiyah/ Communication Forum of Islamic Boarding Schools (FKMI) District Boyolali.   LTKS main fund source is AIDAB (Australian Embassy), CORDAID ( Netherlands ), Kerken In Actie ( Netherlands ) and YBKS (Solo). LTKS also has established cooperation with Akarrumput, Kakak, Atma, SpeakHAM, Jaringan Syarikat (18 cities in Java), Walhi, ICDHRE, Lakpesdam Jombang, Insist, Koalisi Perempuan, LBH APIK, YPKP dan LPKP, Pakorba.

Besides the NGOS, LTKS also establishes cooperation with government institutions such as provincial parliament (DPRD), state police, district attorney, regency government of Boyolali etc. It also works with religious organizations such as Nahdlatul Ulama (NU), Muhammadiyah, PHDI, Gereja Kristen dan Katholik, Fatayat, Muslimat, Nasyiatul Aisyiah, Aisyiah, Trade Union, Teacher Association and China ethnic.

As an organization involving in many activities, LTKS needs strong financial resources. However, it feels that its finance is not strong enough backing up the activities. Besides facing shortage of funds LTKS also faces other problems such as weak organization, low quality of human resources. If there is an offer of funds LTKS will use it to capacity building, particularly to improve the skills of its staffs and managerial skills.
